2007 Renard Rosé
In making my Rosé, I continue to keep the recipe simple and straight forward. No secret ingredients here. As in past vintages, I purchased a few tons of Grenache from Unti Vineyards with the specific intent of making Rosé.  This gives the Rosé those beautiful characteristics that I find so attractive in Grenache; ripe strawberry aspects and bright acidity. I blended in about 10% Kick Ranch Syrah along with about 8% Kick Ranch Viognier to make the wine pretty, yet sturdy.

As the summer heat bears down, save yourself from the big tannic monster Cabernet and chill a bottle of Rosé, sipping it alone or with your favorite picnic fare. Its versatility is endless.
